Refund Policy
Effective June 11, 2026
This policy explains when Saidly subscriptions can be refunded and how to ask for a refund. It works together with our Terms of Use, which control if there is any conflict.
The short version
- Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial, so you can evaluate Saidly before you are ever charged.
- Cancel any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops the next charge and you keep access until the period you paid for ends.
- Annual plans can be refunded within 14 days of the charge. Monthly charges are generally not refundable because of the free trial, but we will make an unexpected charge right.
- If something on our side fails, we fix it with a credit or a refund. Contact support@saidly.ai first and we will sort it out.
1. Try it free first
Every paid plan starts with a 30-day free trial, and we do not ask for a card to begin. This is your no-risk way to decide whether Saidly is right for you. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are never charged. Because you get a full month to evaluate the service for free, our paid plans are sold on the understanding that you have already had the chance to try them.
2. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, by yourself, from your account settings, using the same simple process you used to subscribe. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access to your plan until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and we do not charge you again after that. Cancelling does not, by itself, trigger a refund of a charge that has already been made; whether a past charge is refundable is covered below.
3. Monthly plans
Because every plan includes a 30-day free trial, monthly charges are generally non-refundable, and we do not provide prorated refunds for the unused part of a month. If you no longer want the service, cancel and you will not be charged again. That said, if you were charged unexpectedly and have not meaningfully used the service that period, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will normally refund it. We would rather fix a surprise charge than leave you unhappy.
4. Annual plans
If you are on an annual plan, you can request a full refund within 14 days of the date you were charged for the year, for any reason. After that 14-day window, the annual term is non-refundable and we do not prorate the unused months, but you can cancel at any time to stop the plan from renewing for another year.
5. Unexpected renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and we send a reminder before a free trial converts and show renewal terms at checkout. Even so, renewals can be easy to forget. If your plan renewed and you did not mean to keep it, contact us within 14 days of the renewal charge. If you have not used the service in the new period, we will normally refund the renewal and cancel the plan.
6. If our service fails
If we fail to deliver the service you paid for, for example a sustained outage or reports that do not generate for reasons on our side, we will make it right with a credit or a refund. Note that Saidly relays statements produced by third-party AI models, and as explained in our Terms of Use we do not guarantee that those statements are accurate or favorable. A report you dislike, or one that contains an unfavorable model response, is the service working as intended and is not on its own a basis for a refund.
7. How refunds are issued
Our payments and subscriptions are handled by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record and the seller for your purchase. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle back to your original payment method. The refunded amount includes any tax that was charged. Once a refund is approved it usually appears within five to ten business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
8. How to request a refund
Email support@saidly.ai from the address on your account and tell us which charge you would like reviewed. Please include the date of the charge and, if you have it, the order or receipt reference from your Paddle email. We aim to respond within two business days. You may also see refund and billing options in the receipt emails Paddle sends you.
9. Before you file a chargeback
If you think a charge is wrong or want a refund, please contact us first at support@saidly.ai. Most issues are resolved faster directly than through a bank dispute, and a chargeback can lock your account while it is investigated. We ask that you give us a reasonable chance to help before starting a chargeback or payment dispute. This request does not waive any rights you have under your card network's rules or applicable law.
10. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits the rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your home country. If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract; as explained in our Terms of Use, by starting your subscription or trial you ask us to begin the service during that period and acknowledge the limits on withdrawal once it has begun, to the extent permitted by law. Where local law gives you a stronger refund right than this policy, that law applies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we make a material change we will update the effective date above. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
